Sticky Joe

Sticky Joe began to DJ and produce Roots Reggae after he moved

from Southend to Birmingham in 2007. Joe was lucky enough

to have Reggae musician Ed Rome as his school music teacher in

Essex. So it wasn’t long before he became influenced by the

vibrant Jamaican culture in Birmingham. His school years, the new

surroundings and a love of vinyl combined to start his career

in Roots Reggae. Once Joe finished his Sound Engineering degree

he set out to release as much Roots music as possible.

In 2013 Joe hooked up with MC legend Cheshire Cat (Leftfield)

and they began to work on the album “Make It Run” after releasing

two EP’s together.

Sticky Joe released his debut album “Make It Run” in April 2015.

This album is the culmination of two and a half years of recording,

mixing and experimenting. “Make It Run” is available on iTunes,

Amazon and Spotify now. Sticky Joe is currently touring and

working on new records and remixes.

Ever forward, never backward,

never side to side.
